The 达勒姆郡 社会服务 Division of 老化 and 成人服务 offers a variety of in-home and community-based programs and services to seniors, adults with disabilities and their families.

Our Division’s strategic plan is to help Durham residents achieve self-sufficiency, 安全, 健康, 和独立. The goal is to provide seniors and adults with the security they need, so that they can remain safely in the community. We want the highest quality of life for those who reside in adult and family care homes in 达勒姆郡.

To report abuse, neglect, or exploitation of adult/elderly or disabled adults 

when our offices are closed (weekends, holidays, and/or after 5:30 P.M.

DCoDSS will investigate all alleged abuse, neglect and exploitation of elder and disabled adults. If substantiated, we will provide services to improve or eliminate the situation with adult consent. We will meet with the legal system, if necessary when the individual does not have capacity to consent to services.
